Having a proper Biblical foundation is the key to all things biblical and how we view the world. The Gospel starts in Genesis. Remember this simple truth that I learned from Answers in Genesis many years ago, ”Scripture compromised in the church leads to scripture abandoned in the home.”
"How you answer the question of origins, whether you are an accident or a unique creation of God, will ultimately determine everything else in your life. It will determine your value for human individuals, your basis of morality, your meaning and purpose in life, and your ultimate destiny. It is one of the most fundamental questions you can ask!" If we are a Bible believing, Christ teaching, standing on the Authority of God's word followers of Christ, then we have to define the terms by what God's word says about who He is and what He said He did. If we don’t take God’s word literally from the first verse of Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, then it makes it very difficult to believe Jesus as God manifest in the flesh, a bodily resurrection and all future end times prophetic events. Revelation 22:18-19 gives this warning, “And I Solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.” If we truly proclaim that we are born again in Christ then we must listen to this warning from John!
Here are a number of Bible verses that reveal who God is and what God said He did. Let’s start with the book of Hebrews to lay the foundation upon where we will be heading.
Scripture verses stating that Science confirms the Bible (NLT).
1. Hebrews 11:1-3 - "Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in the days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen."
2. Isaiah 45:11-12 - "This is what the Lord says - the Holy One of Israel and your Creator:" "Do you question what I do for my children? Do you give me orders about the work of my hands? I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. All the stars are at my command."
3. Psalm 33:6-9 - "The Lord merely spoke, and the heaven were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. He assinged the sea it's boundaries and locked the oceans and vast reservoirs. Let the whole world fear the Lord, and let everyone stand in awe of him. For when he spoke, the world began! It appeared at his command."
4. 1 Samuel 2:8 - "he lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among the princes, placing them in seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord's, and he has set the world in order."
5. Proverbs 3:19-20 - "By wisdom the Lord founded the earth; by understanding he created the heavens. By his knowledge the deep fountains of the earth burst forth, and the dew settles beneath the night sky."
6. Psalm 8:3-9 - "When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers - the moon and the stars you set in place - what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority - the flocks and the herds and all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims the ocean currents. O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!"
7. Isaiah 40:21-22 - “Haven’t you heard? Don’t you understand? Are you deaf to the words of God - the words he gave before the world began? Are you so ignorant? God sits above the circle of the earth. The people below seem like grasshoppers to him! He spread out the heavens like a curtain and makes his tent from them.”
8. Psalm 146:5-6 - “But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God. He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever.”
9. Job 26:7 - “God stretches the northern sky over empty space and hangs the earth on nothing.”
10. Isaiah 42:5-9 - “God, the Lord, created the heavens and stretches them out. He created the earth and everything in it. He gives breath to everyone, life to everyone who walks on the earth. And it is he who says, I, the Lord, have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will take you by the hand and guard you, and I will give you to my people Israel, as a symbol of my covenant with them. And you will be a light to guide the nations. You will open the eyes of the blind. You will free the captives from prison, releasing those who sit in dark dungeons. I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols. Everything I prophesied has come true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens.”
11. Psalm 11:3 - The foundations of law and order have collapsed. What can the righteous do?
12. Amos 5:8 - It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!
13. Psalm 19:1-6 - ”The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. They speak without a sound or word; their voices is never heard. Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race. The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.”
14. Isaiah 40:28 - “Have you never heard? Have you not understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.”
15. Psalm 89:9-11 - “You rule the oceans. You subdue their storm-tossed waves. You crushed the great sea monster. You scattered your enemies with your mighty arm. The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours; everything in the world is yours-you created it all.”
16. Jeremiah 51:15-19 - “The Lord made the earth by his power, and he preserves it by his wisdom. With his own understanding he stretched out the heavens. When he speaks in the thunder, the heavens roar with rain. He causes the clouds to rise over the earth. He sends the lightning with rain and releases the wind from his storehouses. The whole human race is foolish and has no knowledge! The craftsman are disgraced by the idols they make, for their carefully shaped works are a fraud. These idols have no breath or power. Idols are worthless; they are ridiculous lies! On the day of reckoning they will all be destroyed. But the God of Israel is no idol! He is the Creator of everything that exists, including his people, his own special possession. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is his name!”
17. Job 26:10 - "He created the horizon when he separated the waters; he set the boundary between day and night."

23. Psalm 102:25-27 - "Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands. They will perish, but you remain forever; they will wear out like old clothing. You will change them like a garment and discard them. But you are always the same; you will live forever."
24. 1 Corinthians 15:41 - "The sun has one kind of glory, while the moon and stars each have another kind. And even the stars differ from each other in their glory."
25. Jeremiah 33:22 - "And as the stars of the sky cannot be counted and the sand on the seashore cannot be measured, so I will multiply the descendants of my servants David and the Levites who ministers before me."
26. Genesis 1:1-2 - "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters."
27. Colossians 1:15-17 - "Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see - such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together."
28. 1 Corinthians 8:6 - "But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live."
29. Hebrews 3:4 - "But Jesus deserves far more glory than Moses, just as a person who builds a house deserves more praise than the house itself. For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God."
30. John 1:1-4 - "In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.
31. Romans 1:20 - "For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for NOT knowing God."
32. Ecclesiastes - 1:4-7 - "Generations come and generations go, but the earth never changes. The sun rises and the sun sets, then hurries around to rise again. The wind blows south, and then turns north. Around and around it goes, blowing in circles. Rivers run into the sea, but the sea is never full. Then the water returns again to the rivers and flows out again to the sea."
33. Isaiah 55:10-11 - "The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it."
34. Psalm 104:5-9 & 19, 24, & 30-31 - "You placed the world on it's foundation so it would never be moved. You clothed the earth with floods of water, water that covered even the mountains. At your command, the water fled; at the sound of your thunder, it hurried away. Mountains rose and valleys sank to the levels you decreed. Then you set a firm boundary for the seas, so they would never again cover the earth. You made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to set. O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures. When you give them your breathe, life is created, and you renew the face of the earth. May the glory of the Lord continue forever! The Lord takes pleasure in all he has made!"
35. Psalm 102:25 - "Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands. They will perish, but you remain forever; they will wear out like old clothing. You will change them like a garment and discard them. But you are always the same; you will live forever.
36. Job 38:1-4 (read the whole chapter) - "Then the Lord answered Job from the whirlwind: "Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much."
37. Job 37:22-33 - "Look, God is all-powerful. Who is a teacher like him? No one can tell him what to do, or say to him, "You have done wrong." Instead, glorify his mighty works, singing songs of praise. Everyone has seen these things, though only from a distance. Look, God is greater than we can understand. His years cannot be counted. He draws up the water vapor and then distills it into rain. The rain pours down from the clouds, and everyone benefits. Who can understand the spreading of the clouds and the thunder that rolls from heaven? See how he spreads the lightning around him and how it lights up the depths of the sea. By these mighty acts he nourishes the people, giving them food in abundance. He fills his hands with lightning bolts and hurls each at its target. The thunder announces his presence; the storm announces his indignant anger.
38. Acts 17:24-34 - "He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn't live in man-made temples, and human hands can't serve his needs - for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need. From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. "His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him - though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.' And since this is true, we shouldn't think of God as an idol designed by craftsman from Gold or silver or stone. "God overlooked people's ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone to repent of their sins and turn to him. For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him for the dead." When they heard Paul speak about the resurrection of the dead, some laughed in contempt, but others said, "We want to hear more about this later." That ended Paul's discussion with them, but some joined him and became believers. Among them were Dionysius, a member of the council, a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
